Fotografar um animal raro é sempre uma experiência demasiado boa para conseguir explicar por palavras. A felicidade e a adrenalina que despoletam são de tal forma elevadas, que por vezes, até me esqueço de almoçar ou que tenho de ir trabalhar. Nunca fui de fazer grandes excursões para fotografar uma raridade em Portugal, a ideia é procurar fotografá-las quando tenho um trabalho na zona. E nos últimos anos tenho tido alguma sorte, e tenho-me deslocado para perto das raridades que tem vindo a aparecer. Deixo algumas aqui nesta galeria, que são comuns noutros países, mas raros e acidentais em Portugal.

Photographing a rare animal is always an experience too good to be able to explain in words. The happiness and adrenaline they trigger are so high that sometimes I even forget to have lunch or that I have to go to work. I've never been one to go on long excursions to photograph a rarity in Portugal, the idea is to try to photograph them when I have a job in the area. And in recent years I've been lucky, and I've been moving closer to the rarities that have been appearing. I leave some here in this gallery, which are common in other countries, but rare and accidental in Portugal.
